Oakley’s Outings with Share A Star

Share A Star are pleased to confirm that we are working with the family of Oakley Orange to provide Oakley’s Outings; a fun day for our stars and a chance to enjoy a day out (or in!) with their friends and families.

There has already been some press coverage in the local Medway Messenger and on BBC News South East. We are working with Lorraine Orange to launch the branding and marketing of this new venture.

Oakley became one of our stars after having a very severe reaction to his epilepsy medication ending up on ICU at Medway Maritime Hospital being diagnosed with Stevens Johnson Syndrome. You can read more about Oakley’s condition and his fight for life when our new pages launch soon.

The first fundraiser has already taken place.

Tilly and Maisie Oakley held a sponsored hair cut on Friday with a whopping 17 inches of hair being lopped from their lovely locks! They are raising sponsorship online and in person. The online giving has reached £343 already. Their hair will be donated to the Princess Trust, a charity that makes wigs for children who lose their hair through treatment for their illness.
